Andy Williamson is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales and registered foreign lawyer with the Law Society of Scotland and admitted to the Roll of Solicitors for the Law Society of Ireland. He has an Msc in Construction Law and Arbitration.
Andy acts for a range of international commercial clients across the Manufacturing and Retail, Renewable Energy and Technology and Media sectors providing both contentious and non contentious advice. Andy has advised on a number of major infrastructure and construction projects as well as having wide experience in commercial litigation, arbitration and ADR.
John McMuldroch is a solicitor dual qualified in England & Wales and Scotland and admitted to the Roll of Solicitors for the Law Society of Ireland. He holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Warwick and an MBA from the Open University Business School.
He has extensive experience in Industry and Private Practice of M & A and Private Equity, including Joint Ventures, Leveraged Buy-Outs, General Securities related work. John also undertakes Property Development work for his Renewable Energy clients in Scotland and England & Wales.
John works from both our Manchester and Edinburgh offices.
Clare is a Solicitor and member of the Law Society of England and Wales. Clare gained over 10 years’ experience in the Real Estate department of top 100 law firms before taking up a position as in house legal counsel at Kingspan Energy. Clare has a wealth of Real Estate experience, across a broad client base, handling complex commercial conveyancing transactions, including the acquisition and disposal of premises and businesses for a wide variety of clients including, property investment companies, developers, local authorities and retail companies. As in house counsel she had responsibility for multi million pound portfolios within the energy sector. Clare works in our Real Estate and Renewable Energy teams heading up our Real Estate team.
Laurie is a solicitor and member of the Law Society of England and Wales. Laurie holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Law in Chester and spent a number of years at a Top 50 law firm where she trained through the Cilex Graduate Fastrack before cross qualifying as a Solicitor in 2018. She has a broad range of experience but predominantly deals with Real Estate matters. She works closely with a wide range of clients from individual and corporate clients to provide advice on commercial land and property acquisitions, commercial and residential developments, landlord and tenant matters and property finance transactions.
Scottish Paralegal – Residential Conveyancing
Alison qualified as a Scottish Paralegal in 2000 whilst working in a busy residential conveyancing department in Glasgow dealing with new build sales and part exchanges. Alison then moved south of the border and spent 3 years at Pannone & Partners in Manchester heading up a residential re-mortgage team. She is now back in Scotland and works from our Edinburgh office dealing with residential conveyancing and commercial property after undertaking a Certificate of Performance in Commercial Conveyancing with The Law School, University of Strathclyde. Alison also has a BSc (Hons) Degree in Psychology.
Charles has a degree in Marine Biology from Hull University which sparked an initial interest in law through the environmental law components. He then went on to complete the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in London Moorgate and Manchester respectively. He also completed his Masters in Law and Business during this time. Charles began his training contract with us in October 2018.
Duncan spent most of his life living in Dubai before returning to the UK to study Law and Criminology at Lancaster University. He continued his legal studies in Manchester where he completed the Legal Practice Course and Masters Degree in Law with distinction. He began his training contract with us in November 2019.
