Andy Williamson

Director

Andy Williamson

Andy Williamson is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales and registered foreign lawyer with the Law Society of Scotland. He has an Msc in Construction Law and Arbitration.

Andy acts for a range of international commercial clients across the Manufacturing and Retail, Renewable Energy and Technology and Media sectors providing both contentious and non contentious advice. Andy has advised on a number of major infrastructure and construction projects as well as having wide experience in commercial litigation, arbitration and ADR.

John McMuldroch

Director

John McMuldrochJohn McMuldroch is a solicitor dual qualified in England & Wales and Scotland. He holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Warwick and an MBA from the Open University Business School.

He has extensive experience in Industry and Private Practice of M & A and Private Equity, including Joint Ventures, Leveraged Buy-Outs, General Securities related work. John also undertakes Property Development work for his Renewable Energy clients in Scotland and England & Wales.

John works from both our Manchester and Edinburgh offices.

Monica Rafie

Solicitor

Monica RafieMonica Rafie is a qualified solicitor in England & Wales having graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University.

Monica deals with traditional sales and purchases and with new build and off plan developments acting for clients all over the world.

Monica is a qualified Mediator with Manchester Mediation Services and regularly acts as Mediator in property disputes, neighbour disputes and  Landlord and Tenant matters.

Monica lectures in law at Cheadle College and is a mentor for legal students with from MMU.

Monica is fluent in Farsi (Persian).

In her spare time Monica is a Trustee for the Loaves & Fishes foodbank charity.  Monica likes to travel around the world as much as she can, although she can never stop working and is always contactable.

Alison McMuldroch

Scottish Paralegal – Residential Conveyancing

Alison qualified as a Scottish Paralegal in 2000 whilst working in a busy conveyancing department in Glasgow dealing with new build sales and part exchanges. Alison then moved south of the border and spent 3 years at Pannone & Partners in Manchester heading up the residential re-mortgage team. She is now back in Scotland and works from our Edinburgh office dealing with all aspects of residential conveyancing. She is currently undertaking a Certificate of Performance in Commercial Conveyancing with The Law School, University of Strathclyde which she will complete in 2019. Alison also has a BSc (Hons) Degree in Psychology.

Stacey Beaumont

Property Lawyer

Stacey Beaumont has over 16 years’ conveyancing experience working in busy conveyancing departments throughout the North West. Her experience includes assisting in the creation of a conveyancing department which grew in turnover to over 1500 files per month dealing with high value high turnover freehold and leasehold auction transactions with 28 day completion from first instruction to completion.

She has also acted in house at a well-known mortgage company dealing with funding securities.

Stacey deals with off plan sales and purchases for clients throughout the world and complicated property issues as well as the usual residential freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.

She is a Level 2 ILEX and Level 4 Licenced Conveyancer and is currently completing her studies to become a Licensed Conveyancer which she should complete by Spring 2019.

Julie Mills

Property Lawyer

Julie gained her undergraduate degree with distinction in 1999 as an allied health professional at Glasgow Caledonian University.  She attended the University of Huddersfield and completed the Graduate Diploma in Law with commendation in 2013 and Legal Practice Course with distinction in 2015.

Julie has been working in conveyancing since 2014 and joined us in our Conveyancing Department in August 2017. She deals with sales, purchases, new builds, remortgages, transfers of equity, auction, right to buy and help to buy matters.

Charles Uff

Trainee Solicitor

Charles has a degree in Marine Biology from Hull University which sparked an initial interest in law through the environmental law components. He then went on to complete the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in London Moorgate and Manchester respectively. He also completed his Masters in Law and Business during this time. Charles began his training contract with us in October 2018.
