<< Back February 2008 - ChinaLink Special Contribution Award 2008 Aughton Ainsworth were runners up in the ChinaLink Special Contribution Award 2008. The award was presented at the annual ChinaLink Business Awards and Dinner which was also an occasion to celebrate the Chinese New Year. A number of dignatories attended the dinner including the Chinese Consulate General Jianzhong Gong. The awards celebrate achievements in doing business in China throughout the previous year and attract a high calibre of entrants. Recognised alongside Aughton Ainsworth were The University of Liverpool, Bank of China and media company, Double Act Productions. The awards committee were particularly impressed by Aughton Ainsworth’s contribution in the investment of Chinese companies in the UK. The award was supported by North West Regional Development Agency, Manchester China Town Business Association and Wu Kau Tang as well as a number of the Chinese companies that Aughton Ainsworth has assisted to set up and become established in the UK.
